MEDICINE

Sports medicine and athletic training coverage for FACS student athletes is provided in partnership with Campbell Clinic. Our on-field athletic trainer, Campbell Clinic’s Lorelei Sims, provides attentive service during practices and games. She is available to help students train, to provide first-response medical evaluation and first aid, to direct families to more advanced care as needed, and to help student athletes through the rehabilitation process. Ms. Sims has also allowed some FACS students interested in the field of sports medicine to shadow her in appropriate circumstances. We are honored to have Ms. Sims as a member of the “FACS Family.”

Campbell Clinic supplies certified athletic trainers to several area high schools and sports clubs. The clinic’s physicians serve as official team doctors for the Memphis Grizzlies, Memphis Redbirds, University of Memphis, Rhodes College and Christian Brothers University.
