Resources That Help Families Celebrate Jesus at Christmas

At First Assembly Christian School, we believe in the importance of celebrating Christmas, while teaching the true meaning for the season. Christmas is such a joyful time because we have the promise of hope found only in Jesus Christ, who was born as a baby in Bethlehem so long ago. This Christmas, we hope you find time to remember the reason why we celebrate - JESUS!

RightNow Media, a streaming service that houses more than 20,000 video bible studies, is a free resource offered to FACS families and serves as a great tool to teach children (and adults) biblical truth on many topics, including Christmas. We encourage you to explore and use this resource!

We recommend a five-day devotional series produced by RightNow Media and featuring teaching from Derwin Gray, founder and pastor of Transformation Church in South Carolina.

More About the RightNow Media 5-Day Advent Devotional

Who exactly is Jesus? What kind of God would come to earth as a human? The season of Advent offers us a chance to reflect on our savior, his purpose, and the surprising ways he invited people near to him. Join pastor Derwin Gray in this five-day Advent devotional as he unveils King Jesus—the God-man who defied expectations, the king of all creation who humbled himself to serve and die, the friend to sinners who wants to lift us up.
