At FACS, we believe the Lord gave us the arts to lift our hearts, to cause us to know Him better, to deepen our worship of Him, and to share His love with others. Scripture is filled with examples of such outcomes related to music and song, movement, architecture, jewelry making, pottery and poetry.
We humbly recognize that our students possess unique talents and abilities that will enrich our school, our churches, and our community. We see each student as a repository of God’s grace and recognize the need to help the student work out what God has worked in.
From an academic standpoint, involvement in Fine Arts deepens cultural understanding, improves academic performance and testing, and helps develop solid, well-rounded students who learn to solve problems and reach greater academic goals.
This is why we are dedicated to Fine Arts education. So whether students pursue vocal or instrumental music, visual art, theatre, or color guard movement, they will receive the very best we have to offer.
The Lord said to Moses, “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs.”

David also commanded the chiefs of the Levites to appoint their brothers as the singers who should play loudly on musical instruments, on harps and lyres and cymbals, to raise sounds of joy. 1 CHRONICLES 15:16 (ESV)
