FACS Releases 901 Shirt and Custom Memphis Skyline

It's no secret that FACS loves Memphis! In recent weeks and months, our city has experienced a series of tumultuous events that have resulted in tragedy, fear and anxiousness among many Memphians. However, we know that there is only one thing that can cast out fear...and that's the perfect love found in Jesus Christ.

FACS Shirt Available Online Now

As a way for the FACS family to come together and pour out our love and support for Memphis, we're launching an exclusive FACS Loves Memphis 901 shirt. The long sleeve, comfy tee shirt is available now for purchase in the school's first ever online store!

Melissa Jadhav, FACS mom and The Gathering Place store manager, shares the heart behind the design: "My hope is that these '901 shirts' will serve as a very important reminder that we all need to pray for peace and protection for our great city...and also to remember to show solidarity with our fellow Memphians. We are all in this together, and we are stronger when we are united."

When you wear your FACS 901 shirt, will you commit to taking two actions:
  1. PRAY for our great city and all of those who call Memphis home.

  2. LOVE the people in our great city like Jesus already does.

Custom FACS x Memphis Skyline

Along with the 901 tee, you can show your support by purchasing a digital print of the Memphis skyline that also includes the FACS 2022 verse from 1 Samuel 7:12, which reflects on how much the Lord has helped us. Drawn from the acknowledgment of the Lord's help and provision for FACS over our 50-year history, we felt this verse very fitting for Memphis, as well. The custom skyline was designed by local Memphis artist, and FACS mom, Shelby Vafinis of Pearl and Rose Designs. Coasters are available in limited supply in the school store for $10. You can also have this design printed on canvas, paper, metal and wood. For more information or questions about ordering, email gather@facsmemphis.org.

Furthering the Mission of FACS

For 50 years, FACS has called Memphis home and served as training ground for young people to excel academically and grow in their understanding and love of Christ, so that they may go out into the community to shine their light for Jesus. Now, more than ever, it is important that we give students a way to show support to our hometown, which in turn furthers the mission of our school.

Portion of Proceeds to Go Toward Local Service Projects

Ten percent of proceeds from each shirt sold will be donated back to the growing FACS service ministry, led by Jason Hall, Director of Spiritual Development. This group of FACS students is currently planning local service projects that will directly impact Memphians.
