The FACS Board of Directors sets aside a portion of the school’s budget each year to provide financial assistance and open the doors to Christian education for qualified students. Parents and guardians apply for assistance through the School and Student Service office (SSS) of the National Association of Independent Schools.
Please follow these steps:
- Complete the online Application for Enrollment and submit all required documents for admissions consideration. You must apply for financial aid while simultaneously applying for admission.Your student must be accepted for admission before financial aid will be awarded.
- Go to the National Association of Independent Schools site and, using school code 2673, submit an application for financial aid.
- As soon as you've filled out your financial aid application through NAIS, please send a copy of your 1040 tax return for the previous calendar year to FACS. Even though the NAIS form may provide the option of submitting the 1040 tax return to NAIS, FACS requires the 1040 tax return be sent to: FACS Business Office, 8650 Walnut Grove Road, Cordova, TN 38018.
- The FACS Board of Directors' Finance Committee meets periodically to review financial aid applications and allocate funds, as available, to assist families whose students have been accepted for admission (see note below).
PLEASE NOTE: Financial aid is heavily requested, so you are encouraged to apply early. On-line application (step 2, above) begins every year in early November for financial aid consideration for the following school year. Both re-enrolling and new students are encouraged to submit financial aid applications no later than March 1.
