The FACS secondary school (grades 7-12) is decidedly college preparatory.
Beginning the freshmen year, students follow a required course of study to earn either the general or the arts & sciences diploma. Because almost all of our students continue on to postsecondary studies, the majority choose to earn the arts and sciences diploma, which mandates world language study along with important preparation in science, math, English and history. Students also study Bible, as well as elective courses in business and the arts.
Students may opt to fulfill some requirements by taking advanced placement courses that allow them to earn college credit following a qualifying examination. Resource instruction also is available in English and math in junior high, and in English in senior high, for those students who work best at an individual pace.
