College Planning

Our continu0us focus on college planning ensures that, throughout secondary school, parents and students are prepared every step of the way.

Parents of eighth graders meet with our director of guidance to develop a four-year course plan before students enter high school.

As our students prepare for college, our Guidance & Counseling office provides appropriate testing and college planning activities for each grade level (see checklists below).

Throughout secondary school, our administrators and faculty encourage fellowship and school spirit to create a healthy atmosphere for student growth. Simultaneously, students are continually reminded that college admissions directors and scholarship decision makers reward students who:

• score high on the ACT or SAT,
• take the toughest courses,
• earn a high grade point average,
• and demonstrate leadership in community service.
